SHADOWS FALL To Guest On 'Headbanger's Ball'
June 27, 2006SHADOWS FALL members Brian Fair (vocals) and Paul Romanko (bass) will be featured guests on MTV2's "Headbanger's Ball" on Saturday, July 8 at 10:00 p.m. EST. They will talk about their new album, upcoming headlining spot on this year's Strhess Tour and debut their new video for "In Effigy". The group have also landed the cover spot of Decibel magazine's July issue, which is on stands now.
Commentedd Fair: "I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of our fans that went out and picked up our new album, 'Fallout from the War'. The support is most appreciated. We are getting ready to head back out on the road for the first time in a long time. The year's Strhess tour is going to be sick and I for one can't wait to get back onstage to rock out with all of our friends across the country. This is the ONLY tour we will be doing this year, so we want everyone to come out and throw it down with us before we have to lock ourselves back in the studio. We have been getting a setlist together and plan on adding some new songs from the new record into the set, as well as playing a few older songs that we have not busted out onstage for awhile.
"Paul and I just were just up at the MTV studios with Jamey Jasta filming an interview piece for 'Headbanger's Ball' and they had the tribute to Dimebag Six String Masterpiece collection on the set. It was definitely an unreal sight to behold. They are all Dean guitars that different artists and musicians custom decorated as a memorial to the memory of the one and only Dimebag Darrell. You don't want to miss this and our new video for 'In Effigy' will also make its television debut, so keep an eye out. It is a great performance video that captures the vibe well by just focusing on the band and the pure intensity of the song. Hope to see everyone on the road and don't forget that 'Fallout from the War' is in stores now."
